Where is the experience?
Our exclusive location is close to Basildon, in Essex, it is about 40 miles from Central London, there is more information about the location and travel here. On your experience you will be flying your hovercraft across the 6 acre lake and surrounding fields. Specific details of how to get to the location are sent out when you book your experience
What's included in the price?
Gift Voucher Hovercraft Experience:
- Free delivery of your personalised hovercraft voucher valid for 9 months
- Use of all the necessary safety and protective equipment
- One on one tuition on the luxury hovercraft
- Hands on experience in the hovercraft on land and water (you drive)
- Refreshments (non-alcoholic) and snacks are included throughout the experience
- You will receive a Certificate as souvenir of the experience
Group Hovercraft Experience:
- Free delivery of your Experience details to all participants
- Use of all the necessary safety and protective equipment
- One on one tuition on the luxury hovercraft
- Hands on experience in the hovercraft on land and water (you drive)
- Refreshments (non-alcoholic) included throughout the experience
- Cold buffet of (sandwiches, fruit and cakes)
- You will each receive a Certificate as souvenir of the experience
How long does it take?
For individual experiences you should allow between 1.5 to 2 hours, you will spend between 45 minutes to 1 hour in the hovercraft. Groups of four should allow 3 to 3.5 hours for the group.
Can anyone do it?
- You must be at least 16 years old to do this experience.
- Reasonable agility is required to get into the Hovercraft, if you have any concerns please call us 0845 226 0748 .
- Your weight should not exceed 120kgs.
- You don't need any driving or boating experience.
How do I book?
Call 0845 226 0748 to book your experience. We operate all months of the year so just let us know when you'd like to take your experience and we'll book you in.
What should I wear?
You will be provided with all the necessary waterproof and safety clothing. There is no need to get your feet wet on your experience because you will get into and out of the hovercraft on land. But to ensure that you are warm enough you should dress appropriately for the weather, with sensible non-slip shoes.
What if it rains?
Hovercraft can be flown in most weather however some conditions are not suitable such as wind conditions of more than force 4. We will contact you to re-schedule, if the experience cannot be held that day.
