The glide 3 experience was unique in so many ways. I've been and done many experiences ie:- JCB Digger driving, quad biking and 4x4 driving. These have all been good but nothing compared to the feeling you get flying across a lake side ways and being in complete control. Also the amount of time that you in control is amazing a quick safty brefting then one trip around with the instructor and then he hands over and gives you expert one to one training. The best value for money around.

Exhilarating,adrenalin rush, fun, makes you feel alive - a totally unique experience!it's like gliding on the surface of the water on a great big cushion, so comfortable to drive in contrast to the 180/360 turns on land to get back down the bank and back into the water...one session is not enough!

I am what is considered a 'petrol head'. I work in the motor industry, I am lucky enough to drive powerful cars, both on and off the road and have had many opportunities to take part in experiences on race tracks, in the air and off-road, but this still comes top of the list for being a unique experience. On top of that the people who run this experience are absolutely first class, making it a great day out for the entire family with safety always a priority - all I can say is " Give it a go, you will not be dissappointed!"

It actually surpassed my expectations, as when I found out what we were doing I wasn't very excited as it seemed a bit boring but when i got there and we started the session I found I really enjoyed it and that it was really good fun. Would def do it again.

Imagine a go-cart, going round a dirt-track. No actually, better make it an ice-rink, but one where you've got grip going straight but tend to drift round corners in that way that always looks really cool when racing drivers do it, except of course the hovercraft steers from the back, so better make it a racing dinghy, except one with no drag and the wind permanently behind you so you can go really fast, except of course you can go on land too.. Oh, I give up, you'll just have to try it to see what's it's like. It is great fun though!

This was a totally new experience for me and when I first watched it I did'nt think I would be able to drive the Hovercraft. Once I was on board, I was looked after and given great tuition before I had a go. It's not hard to do and really is great fun espcially going from land to water! Anyone would enjoy Hovergliding, it was a great day out!

Everyone should try this! And don't bother with a site that doesn't give you the opportunity to fly over water too - this is truly exhilerating and gives you the real hovercraft experience.

I've been lucky enough to fly a Tiger-Moth, drive a tank, race pilot cars.....but this was better than all of those. These hovercraft are an absolute blast!!!!

"I was traveling on vacation with my 21 year old son
and wanted something different to do. I was very lucky to find GLIDE3 on the web. Hovercrafting was just the answer.
I contacted Jo from the US via email and she made all the arrangements. She had an itinerary with a map containing very specific
walking and train connections waiting for me at our London hotel when we arrived. When we got off the train in Benfleet, Alex was there
to pick us up. We had an afternoon of great fun, hovercrafting over land and water in the English countryside only 40miles from London.
After the lesson we sat and visited over hot chocolate and mince pies as Alex explained the rules of cricket to my son.
It was an absolutely charming day. With Alex and Jo we felt like we were spending time with old friends."

In some ways its
like a car, in some ways like a motorbike, and if I'm not mistaken there's definitely a bit
of camel in there too. I personally recommend the 40mph 180 degree emergency stop with
massive over steering, rounded off by that 'ooh, look I'm aqua planing' sensation.
